Filmed with a VHS-C camera I inherited from my grandpa. No added effects used, I wore out the tape by re-recording over it a bunch of times before finally recording footage for the trailer. I then fast forwarded and rewound (and paused) a bunch which wore out the VHS-C tape some more, getting that gritty look I wanted. Filming at twilight helped, too. Too light for the light on the camera to help much, too dark to get it to pick up much. I messed with the exposure and the white balance a bunch of times to get that look I wanted.

Was a lot of fun making this! I recorded the voice over later, and the music is WitchCandle. I have a cut of that’s 2x as long (more footage) that’s just the music I plan to loop on a monitor during my book signings for fun.
