Awesome debate on experimental fiction

Well worth the time to read it-

The most interesting part, to me, is when they argue whether or not cut-ups could still be considered experimental these days. It’s an interesting thought- esp. since how old the technique is and how some works based on cut-ups are part of the literary canon now. Also? Chris Higgens is awesome in this. He lays down a level of philosophy I haven’t participated in about a decade. I kind of miss rambling on about Kant and reason and art. It’s really all damned good stuff. I esp like his idea of the past of literature being a collection of roots, or that things are constantly bubbling up and down. It’s great stuff.
