Next stop is on Kelly Meding’s blog, who wrote the excellent Three Days Till Dead (an awesome book). This little essay I posted there is a bit of an expansion of something I mentioned in passing in my review/view/essay on House of the Devil: that Urban Fantasy is a reaction against horror and a rebellion against the Final Girl archetype.
