Tor.com’s LOTR re-read covers the Council at Rivendell

Which is my favorite part from the books as a whole. Funny, that this scene takes most of an evening in the book and is over within a few minutes in the movie :)   Anyway, some really interesting stuff is said in the re-read, so you should go and check it out:
