So my laptop got infected with something nasty Friday night. It’s basically a whole bunch of trojans, autodialers, spyware and viruses, all of them downloading and installing more, making my computer more and more infected by the second. I tried 6 different spyware removal tools (starting with the classics and moving up) and nothing could stop the tide of nasties. Every time I logged on (even in safe mode) 5 new problems surfaced to replace each 1 problem that the anti spyware stuff got rid of.
So that’s it. I’m backing it up and wiping it and reinstalling everything. Yeah, my mac at work and my Linux box are looking more and more awesome these days, heh heh heh. Wow, it just seems like on thing after another since 2009 started…yet, in the over all scheme of things it could be worse. Oh well, I’m sick of bitching about my problems. No matter what else happens, I’m not bitching about anything anymore. Even if the sky collapses and harpies come out and rend me limb from limb. I’m done complaining.
