My Health

Quick note, while I can sort of type. I fell down the steps this morning, and really hurt myself. Nothing too serious, I hope. I can barely type or sit up, and I feel bruised all over my back and ribs. I’m starting to walk and sit up a little now, which is good.

But typing hurts. A lot. Not as much as this morning, though. This is just to let everyone know I’m okay, I’m recovering, but I won’t be posting for teeny tiny bit. Either to here or twitter. Too much pain. Now I’ll go and lay down. Thanks for all the well wishing. Blasted gravity.

  1. Hope you get better soon and nothing serious got hurt. I have fallen down the stairs in our house twice, but thankfully my spine cushioned the bumpy slide down (/sarcasm). I am a bit worried that you are still feeling the effects, though. Seriously.
    :(

  2. I hope you get well soon.

Please keep us updated. I’m glad you had a little SF twist to put in there. Helps with the pain, I hope. Blast gravity, indeed.

Yikes! Get better and rest up. Sitting isn’t good for humans in the first place, let alone when one’s back is bad.

  4. Natania says:

Feel better. Take ibuproven. Drink water. Lather, rinse, repeat. :) Take care of yourself!

  5. Berry says:

Dang, Paul. I second the OTC pain relievers and water comment.

    Heal.

  6. So sorry to hear that, I hope the pain does not last too long. Have Rachel get you your favorite comfort food.

    Yeah, Gravity is an a55hole!

  7. Hope you mend well and fast.

Just received my bonus tale for prodering Open Your Eyes, and I’m quite looking forward to reading it this weekend. Thanks!

maybe you could get one of those electric chair lifts for the stairs, like in gremlins remember? those stairs are seriously like filled with those insanity-induciing angles and stuff, i saw ‘em and i was scared of ‘em. hope you feel better man.
